Should I resurrect this blog or not? That is the question.
I have never been great at blogging as you can well see. I haven't even posted here in years. Blogging is just not my thing. But could it be? Something to ponder.
Can you believe how fast life slips by? I became a consultant 22 years ago with Close To My Heart stamping & scrapbooking. This was just a few months before I had our 2nd daughter. Which means that she will be 22 in just a few short weeks. How can this be? Time really does fly by, especially the older you get. And what about Covid? Is it just me? Or do you think that the time has gone by quickly with that too. Remember when they said just for 2 weeks. But then I heard it might take 2 years. What? And then 2 years passed by. And I am like really? Wow, that 2 years just has come and gone.
During Covid especially during the shut downs and as we well know, some states and some countries were locked down or only partially opened back up, longer than others. And being basically locked up at home, what could one do to entertain themselves? Why, Craft of course!
And so even though I had been offering classes sporadically. I remained consistent with my Bunco Crafters Club and my Spring & Fall Retreats. Out of Covid, I began to offer more. Even though it was out of necessity for my finances it quickly showed that it was out of necessity for so many to maintain their sanity. Who knew we would enjoy so much just seeing each others faces on Zoom?
During the age of Zoom, I was able to quickly devise a plan to be able to keep my Crafting Bunco Group still playing with each other from the safety of their own homes. WOW! That was actually pretty cool! And honestly, that would still be a fun time to play with others from around the world! Which I actually did when I taught some other Close To My Heart Makers how to do just that!
Well, I have never been much to journal, not even in my scrapbooks. That really is kind of a bummer. Because even though you think you will remember all the funny, sad, beautiful moments of life with family and friends, my memory of the details fades. Photos are a wonderful thing to have but even better when you accompany stories to go with some.
So with that being said, maybe I will work on resurrecting this blog. Even if it just becomes a places to capture some of what is happening in my life. We will see. I hope you join me.
